About Dr. Olscamp

Doctor Adam Olscamp grew up in Bellingham, Washington. He did his undergraduate as well as Medical School training at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. He then did his internship, residency and chief residency at the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Adam Olscamp is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and is licensed in both Idaho and Washington.

Dr. Olscamp is married to Stephanie who is a local nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife. They are the proud parents of 4 children. Dr. Olscamp has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon in Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls for over 20 years. He is Co-Owner, Co-Founder and a current board member of Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho.

  • Skiing - an avid telemark skier and a past nationally ranked, sponsored ski racer.
  • Cycling - an active mountain and road cyclist and a Cat II road racer in his younger years
  • Triathlons - as a 2x Ironman, he has completed multiple ½ Ironman events.
  • Hunting - archery hunting as well as occasionally rifle hunting.
  • Fishing - avid steelheader who also enjoys salmon and trout fishing.
